U2 Outdoor Tour 2009

Found this article on Gigwise.com

U2 Stops The Traffic In London

Today, in London, England, U2 played a surprise gig on the rooftop of BBC's Broadcasting House on Regents Street to promote No Line On The Horizon. London and the BBC have had the honor of being the first to introduce the new songs in live form all week, and it topped off with a stunt befitting the Greatest Rock Band in the World.

From the roof, they played Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Vertigo and Beautiful Day. Here are some youtube clips from that performance.

"Winter"

Found this link online and wanted to share it with you. The link takes you to a download page where you can grab an over-modulated audio version of "Linear" done by Anton Corbijn. It's one 58 minute track that downloads pretty quickly, and the reason it's so cool is this:

It's NLOTH with different mixes, in a different order and with the unreleased song, "Winter". After one listen to Winter, I am already disappointed it didn't make the album officially, although I have heard it will be included in the boxed-set version of NLOTH on March 2nd here in the USA. The bass line reminds me of WOWY.
