The Norman show date for Irish rock legend U2 is now official.
The band's Web site has been updated, with the Norman date added on the band's "U2 360 Tour," for 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Fan Club and Artist VIP Package sales both begin 10 a.m. April 15, according to the Live Nation ticket site. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. April 17, reports Live Nation.
More than 18 of the band's shows on this tour have already sold out.
This tour will visit 14 cities across Europe, including Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin and Glasgow, before finishing on Aug. 22.
The American leg of the tour begins at Chicago's Soldier Field on Sept. 12.
Longtime U2 show director Willie Williams has worked again with architect Mark Fisher (ZooTV, PopMart, Elevation and Vertigo), to create an innovative 360-degree stadium stage and presentation design, which allows for an unobstructed view for the audience.
