The tour is not expected to be confirmed until the band pick up their 360 Degrees world dates in Europe in August and Bono is happy with his fitness after recuperating from back surgery.
IRISH supergroup U2 have pencilled in Sydney concert dates at ANZ Stadium for December, setting up another bumper summer of rock.
Industry sources said that the U2 concerts would be held at the outdoor stadium before Bon Jovi hits the SFS on December 17.
Pre-sale front-row VIP packages worth $1800 for the Bon Jovi concert sold out yesterday, indicating buoyant demand for the New Jersey rockers' return to Australia.
In terms of price hotness, Bon Jovi are eclipsed by the Eagles, whose front-row seats will cost fans $670 each.
Bon Jovi's tickets range in price from $120 to $320 - plus booking fees - and go on general sale on July 8.

It is estimated the Eagles concerts will gross almost $12 million for just four shows.Local concert experts suggested U2 were likely to postpone their Australian tour to early 2011 because The Eagles and Bon Jovi tours will "suck a lot of money out of the market".
