U2 tribute band give a helping hand to Leatherhead Theatre

Europe’s leading U2 tribute band has announced it will be donating a percentage of ticket sales to the Leatherhead Theatre.

ZU2 are playing a gig at the troubled playhouse on May 30th.

They’ve decided to give some of the money raised to the campaign Save The Theatre –

which is fronted by actor Sir Michael Caine.

Lead singer Russ – AKA Bono – says theatres such as Leatherhead have an important role to play in the community.

Radio Jackie has also got behind the campaign by giving away tickets every evening this week.
